Relief Goods Annual Report 2018

"The wood for an event's throw-away playground in Switzerland is now turned into an orphanage and thus a long-term home for children in Moldova. Isn't that great?"

Relief Goods Annual Report 2018

Help instead of stockpile

With AVC humanitarian aid, more than 650 tons of relief goods find a new destination every year. What does not (or no longer) meet the high requirements in Switzerland and is often rejected on pallets by manufacturers, gets a second chance with us. Clothing, shoes, food and hygiene articles, but also bicycles, fireplace ovens and much more find grateful buyers in over a dozen countries.

From small to large
We are always amazed at all the generous donations that are made available to us. Whether someone takes the road to a collection point to deliver a worn out warm jacket, or whether a company shows up with several trucks full of building material - everything makes a real difference on site. Many thanks for every small and big donation!

Loyal helpers throughout Switzerland
AVC humanitarian aid would not be AVC humanitarian aid and would be far less effective without the more than 150 volunteers who have continued to work particularly hard throughout 2018. They have looked after clothing collection points, sorted goods, loaded trucks and containers and much more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
